Yom Ha’Aliyah Activities – in cooperation with Nefesh B’Nefesh, Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, and Nadav Foundation:

  • 17:30 – Welcoming, Name tags, country stickers, magnets, fair is open in lobby, by Olim vendors.
  • 18:00-20:00: Museum galleries open, Human Library of Olim throughout the tour.
  • 18:30-19:00 and 19:30-20:00: Mini film festival of Aliyah documentaries (location: Zeevi Hall).
  • 20:00-21:00: Greetings, Band performance by FromScratch – a pop-rock band from Tel Aviv, founded by Olim Chadashim. Each member has their own unique path in rock music and a wealth of concert experience. For each of them, moving to Israel became a turning point and a chance to start from scratch – hence the obvious name ‘FromScratch’. The band exudes energizing vibes that leave no one indifferent. Their optimism lifts people, and their released songs are actively played on the radio. In 2.5 years of existence, the band has already played over 300 concerts in various formats, and they already feel like a family that has found their true home here. Currently, FromScratch is in the process of recording their first EP album and producing new music videos. Band members: Roman Belov – Frontman, Songwriter, Konstantin Chalykh – Bass Guitarist, also Songwriter, guitarist for Bi-2 and TequilaJazz, Sergey Kivin – Drummer. also a member of AnimalJazz.
