*Three Events in Hebrew*

The “Escape Movement” in Europe, between 1944-1949, assisted in bringing approximately 300,000 Jewish Holocaust survivors to Israel. Dr. Miri Nahari, chairperson of the Habricha Legacy Association, who has extensively researched the period and published several works on the subject, reveals fascinating details about that historical time.

In the lecture, Dr. Nahari also points out interesting and thought-provoking connections between the Escape Movement after the Holocaust, and the period in Israel following the events of October 7th.

The lecture is accompanied by documentary footage. This is the first of three meetings on the topic of the “Escape Movement” to be held at ANU Museum.

*The event is part of the Holocaust Remembrance Day events series of ANU – Museum of the Jewish People.
