Japan by Utagawa Hiroshige – a lecture by art critic Yelena Galinski.
Hiroshige, the renown 19th century Japanese artist, was the last representative of his generation of multi color printing artists. He conveys the various states of nature with great virtuosity: snow, rain, fog and water. His subtle poetic works combine aesthetic pleasure as well as deep emotions.
After the lecture a guided tour at the museum will be held.
Lecture and tour are held in Russian.
