Discovering Martha: The Human Drama of the Kindertransport

Thursday, 24.4.25 // 9:45

Have all Holocaust stories been told?
What does it mean to carry a Holocaust story within you throughout your life, without the opportunity to share it?

Her name is Martha. In 1939, her parents arranged for her and her sister to leave Germany and sent them away from home as part of the Kindertransport.
Martha never saw them again.

Martha never had a chance to share her story, until a group of Yad Vashem guides came along, willing to listen, eager to learn.

Our Holocaust Memorial Day session will be dedicated to Martha and her story – as well as the story of this special human encounter.

Albee Kava, Leon Duval, Tal Hartuv, and Lisa Revivi will share with us Martha’s story and the story of their acquaintance.

The Event will be held in both English & Hebrew

(Hebrew & English will be used intermittently – simultaneous translation will not be available)

Free Admittance – kindly register in advance HERE
