Olga Bergholz was called “The Madona of Leningrad” and “The Muse of the Siege”. Her poems, diaries and reports from the 1941 siege of Leningrad became the voice of an era.

In the film, author Natalia Gromova reads from the diaries, which were traced after decades in obscure archives.

After the film, a discussion with the director, Elena Yakovich will be held in Russian.
