Open Call for Immigrant Artists – DOR by ANU, Cohort 2

We are launching the second cohort of DOR – the first accelerator in Israel for immigrant artists working at the intersection of cultures, languages, and identities.
The program is an initiative of the Ministry of Culture and ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, developed specifically to support immigrant artists seeking professional integration in Israel and a platform for artistic expression.
About the Program
DOR is an accelerator for artists and cultural practitioners who want to develop professionally and become part of the Israeli art scene.
What participants will gain:
- An understanding of the local art market, including funding opportunities and ways to promote artistic projects
- An introduction to the Israeli cultural scene – its structure, key players, and opportunities
- Targeted networking – meetings with producers, industry leaders, and successful artists
- Professional guidance and mentoring

Professional Accelerator
September 2026 – January 2027, Tel Aviv
- Weekly meetings at ANU – Museum of the Jewish People
- Tours, discussions, and meetings with key figures in the cultural and art scene
- Development of an individual or group project
- Presentation of the project before a professional jury
Outstanding projects will receive financial support for production and implementation.
Project Development and Production
2027
- Development and production of selected projects with curatorial and production support
- Final presentation of the projects – art projects, performances, or public events – for a broad audience and the professional community.
Eligibility

Eligibility
The program is open to:
- Artists and cultural practitioners who immigrated to Israel in 2021 or later
- Professionals from the creative industries with at least 4 years of professional experience, including exhibitions, participation in projects, and collaborations with cultural institutions
- Artists and cultural practitioners seeking professional integration in Israel and interested in developing an artistic project within the local art scene
- Participants who are able to commit to mandatory attendance at weekly meetings in Tel Aviv
- Proficiency in English is required; Hebrew is an advantage
Important: Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements simultaneously.
Participation Fee
Subsidized participation fee with state support: NIS 800 for the full program
Selection Process

Selection Process

- Application deadline: July 4, 2026
- Personal or online interviews: July 2026
- The interviews will be held with the project team to get to know the applicants and assess their fit for the program.
- Final selection will be made by a professional jury, including cultural professionals and representatives of ANU – Museum of the Jewish People.
- Program start: September 2026

- This procedure does not constitute a public tender or any other tender process and is conducted as part of procedures exempt from a mandatory tender – an accelerator for immigrant artists. The Ministry and/or ANU – Museum of the Jewish People are not obligated to approve any application for participation.
- The Ministry and/or ANU – Museum of the Jewish People reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, to contact applicants to the accelerator as needed in order to request additional information, clarifications, documents, presentations, and/or any other relevant materials.
- All costs associated with submitting an application to participate in the accelerator shall be borne solely by the applicant. In any case, the Ministry and/or ANU – Museum of the Jewish People shall not bear any responsibility, cost, or expense for any loss, damage, or expense incurred by the applicant in connection with submitting the application or participating in the accelerator, and shall not compensate the applicant for any such expense and/or damage.
